Hello from all of us at Mile High United Way Turkey Trot. We are excited for our 51st annual event, a true family and community tradition. We are providing thefollowing information as it pertains to your various interests and information.
Since 1973,the Mile High United Way Turkey Trot has been a Thanksgiving tradition, drawing nearly 10,000 people to Washington Park each year!

Set Up
Wednesday, November 27 from 10:00 am to 5 pm
Thursday, November 28 from 4:30 am to 8:00 am
Event Activities
Thursday, November 28 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
Tear Down and Cleanup
Thursday, November 28 from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm
Neighborhood Impact
The event will require road closures along E. Louisiana from S Franklin to S Williams from 6 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The course runs along E. Louisiana (west) to S. Downing (north) to E. Virginia Ave (east) to S. Franklin (south) and enters the park at S. Franklin and E. Arizona (refer to 4 Mile Map attached). These roads will consist of a rolling close starting at approximately 9 a.m. to 11:15a.m. on event day. Denver Police will be on hand at all roads and intersections to help direct traffic. Participant parking will be taking place at South High School and All-City Stadium.

Since 1973,the Mile High United Way Turkey Trot has been a Thanksgiving tradition, drawing nearly 10,000 people to Washington Park each year!
By participating in this four-mile run/walk, you are joining Denver’s greatest Thanksgiving tradition AND giving back to your community. Each registration positively impacts families across Metro Denver – ensuring children begin school ready to succeed, young adults are prepared for college, or the workforce and families are getting their basic needs met and have opportunities to move toward economic success.
As we give thanks, we also celebrate the runners, volunteers, and families who have made the Mile High United Way Turkey Trot a part of their Thanksgiving traditions for over 50 years. Thank you.
With each registration, you have positively impacted the lives of families across Metro Denver - ensuring children enter school ready to succeed, that young adults are prepared for college or the workforce, and that families are getting their basic needs met and have opportunities to move toward economic success.
