Meeting Schedule
WPENA will hold four Board Meetings and six General Meetings in 2026. WPENA Members are encouraged to attend General Meetings either in person or via Zoom to stay up to date and informed on upcoming community events, issues, and projects.
January General Meeting
Join us at our new meeting location Washington Park United Methodist Church, 1955 E. Arizona St., South Parlor Room on Tuesday, Jan. 13 from 6-8 for WPENA’s January meeting.This meeting will focus on traffic concerns in Wash Park East. In addition to providing a summary of WPENA’s recent neighborhood Traffic Survey results and position on the Alameda project, we’ll have representatives from the Mayor’s office and the Denver Department of Transportation and Infrastructure to discuss:
- Process for raising traffic and traffic safety concerns/requests from start to implementation and City of Denver considerations, decision points and budgetary issues
- Discuss perception that there is one process for most residents and another process for influential residents
- Community Outreach requirements and when is it not followed and why
- Alameda Project
- 1200 S. Williams and parking restrictions
- Stop sign requests
WPENA has invited Jill Locantore from Denver Streets Partnership and DOTI Advisory Board Members for this important conversation.
We’ll also hear updates from Councilmember Kashmann, our Denver Public Schools representative Kimberlee Sia, and Denver Police Department District 3.
