Denver CASA Back to School Drive

Child Advocates – Denver CASA is collecting new backpacks and essential school supplies for children and youth involved in Denver’s child welfare system.

For many young people in foster care, a backpack is more than a place to carry school supplies. Children often move from one placement to another with their belongings packed in black trash bags. A new backpack provides a practical way to carry their belongings while offering dignity, confidence, and a sense that their community cares.
