Upcoming Programs & Events
at Eugene Field Library

We are still offering our popular weekly afterschool programs, Arts & Crafts for Kids on Tuesdays at 3:30 p.m. and LEGO® Club on Wednesdays at 3:30pm, with a twist. Arts & Crafts for Kids will feature more process-based, child-led art activities, as well as artist-inspired crafts.

Arts & Crafts for Kids’ first craft of the year:

Let’s Pretend We’re Andy Warhol!

This drop-in arts learning program, intended for children ages 2-7 and their caregivers, creates a space for bonding and community for families. LEGO® Club in 2025 features a little bit of a make over as well. Attendees are offered the option to display their creations in the stacks of juvenile fiction! Both programs are intentionally scheduled at a convenient time immediately after the school day, so if you haven’t had a chance to stop by, please do!

Looking for things to do with families and tweens?

We are still featuring our monthly programs for older kids and families, Family Yoga, Dance Party, and Tween Hangout. Tween Hangout, held the 2nd Monday of the month, from 4-5 p.m., is a place for tweens to be tweens. Intended for ages 8-13 with or without a caregiver, tweens can enjoy structured activities like friendship bracelets, DIY mazes, paint pouring, or games they can play on their own, as well as snacks, all in a low-key environment ideal for de-stressing from a busy school day.
